I just wanted to say that I love this site... GOG actually encourages me to buy games from them since they keep rubbing it in... that the games have NO DRM!!! brilliant marketing..
Welcome to the site. You'll find lots of other people here who feel the same way ;-)
They really make you feel like a customer instead of a criminal, don't they?
This is my main source for old games now!
Sure, one could pirate these games easily, BUT! those versions sometimes need a lot of tweaking to work, AND, they don't come with neat extras like OSTs, the full manuals, and artwork! :D
Plus these games are damn cheap too! (especially if you live in the UK like me! Exchange rate abuse FTW!)

It's not marketing, it's just being sensible and treating your customers as you want to be treated (e.g. good customer service).

Which is what marketing should be- highlighting your service. I feel like marketing has become synonymous with swindeling people out of their money, but it doesn't have to be that. GoG is a rare exception.
Welcome to GOG.
Sturgeon General's Warning: GOG is addictive. Watch out for the weekend deals.
Welcome to GOG's fold, Iztli!

I hear you... Same here.
Welcome, Iztli. I agree with you completely.
What?!
Yust tell me, what is smaller then 3 GoGs?
The only thing that prevents me from fully embracing digital distribution is that so much of what you buy is tethered to the store, even if it's otherwise DRM-free. I still hesitate to spend more than a few dollars on something with online authentication.
Fortunately, at GOG, I only spend a few dollars AND my purchase is DRM-free. When I go game-shopping, GOG is always my first choice.

A dozen GOGs on a physically smaller drive?
