Dear business friends,
2011 was a good year for our little family here at GOG. We have had seven cases this year, to which many of you have given their best -- and their worst. I like that. And for this, you deserve to be rewarded, my friends. But no, your good GOGfather will not pick and choose. We run this business on democratic principles, remember. So tell me, who do you think deserves a prize this year?

This is the nominations thread for the 2011 GOG Mafia Awards.
Games eligible for nominations are these:
Game 1 - Trouble in GOGville - Moderator: Zchinque. Mafia Win.
Game 2 - Sweet GOGville high - Moderator: Damuna. Mafia Win.
Game 3 - Jacks of all trades - Moderator: Zchinque. Mafia Win.
Game 4 - Nightmare of the household appliances - Moderator: Damnation. Town Win.
Game 5 - Terror in Wonderland - Moderator: bazilisek. Town Win.
Game 6 - Three roads to Hell - Moderator: GhostQlyph. Fell apart.
Game 7 - New players mafia - Moderator: Vitek. Mafia Win.
Game 8 - Joe's Fairy Mafia - Moderator: Joesapphire. Mafia Win.
There are six categories:
Best Moderator
Best Setup
Best Town Performance - Player
Best Mafia Performance - Player
Best Town Performance - Team
Best Mafia Performance - Team
Anyone (i.e. not only people involved in playing mafia here on GOG, but also any eager readers!) may nominate up to three contestants for each of the categories simply by posting in this thread. Each of your three votes carries the same weight; in case of a tie for the third place in any category, the order of votes decides. You do not need to cast your votes in all categories, if you do not want to, and feel free to unvote and revote as much as you like (but do not edit your posts, please; this is Mafia, after all). Nominations will be counted only after the deadline which will be announced later in this thread, but I'm thinking it will be sometime around December 10 or so. The three nominees with the most votes in each category will continue to the final round of voting, which should culminate around Christmas time, to keep up the family holiday spirit.
And there will be prizes for winners! (Hope you like horse heads in your bed.)
The GOGfather is sad when people vote for themselves. And you don't want to make the GOGfather sad, do you?
