I remember playing this and seriosly loved it!
As the topic states, any chance of making this availble for us? or anyone know where I can purchase a version that works on today's OS'?
The publisher is Microsoft, so yeah, forget about that.

Reminds me of Terminal Velocity. Fun game as well.

Look on the homepage for the wishlist.
All things considered, there's more chance of Microsoft releasing it for free. But I doubt there's the demand for that like there was with Mechwarrior games.

Both games were made by Terminal Reality so that might be why. I loved Terminal Velocity as a kid though, tried it again somewhat recently and unfortunatly it doesn't hold up as well anymore.

From what I recall of the demo, I think Hellbender would hold up better.

I've not played Hellbender before but the youtube footage makes it look hard to control, unless the guy controlling it isn't that good at it.

Ralackk: It wasn't so much hard to control as it was the enemy fighters being so hard to hit, Especially compared to the barely moving targets in Terminal Velocity. Think fighting Tie Fighters in X-Wing.

IIRC, Hellbender was an updated Terminal Velocity after Terminal Reality got the MS contract. I preferred the original for two reasons, one I actually had it and two Gillian Anderson did the voice of the computer. Yes, THAT Gillian Anderson. :)

Whoever is playing it looks as uncoordinated as the last time I played Descent.
