Using original Russian voices can fix that, unless you speak Russian. Clear Sky has some annoying repetitive translated voices, in SoH and CoP they kept it more original.

For Stalker SoC i recommend the Complete-mod. Very stable, very polished and not at all too easy for my taste. I loved it. The same mod for Clear Sky. For Call of Pripyat I would recommend the Misery-mod instead of the Complete, because it seems to intruduce new problems rather than just solving the old ones.
