Bloodygoodgames: Thanks wormholewizards for suggestion. Will try more with GOGs downloader when I have chance. Just not this weekend :)

BTW, two things - see you're in Malaysia. My second favorite country in the world (after Spain), I get there every few months - gorgeous country, amazing people, great food!

And btw, I'm a SHE, hence the hissy fit when I have to mess around too much to get stuff to work, LOL, but you weren't to know that. :)

Thailand is no better. I seriously think we'll see a civil war here in the next 3-5 years, as do many of my Thai friends. The political situation gets worse every year.

But no, none of that frightens me. In fact, I'll be in Malaysia again in May probably. Can't wait. I eat like a pig when I'm there, the food is so darn good - and CHEAP :)

lugum: sound to me you are just trolling. why isnt the majority not having problems then?
and before you give anyone a chance to help you you just get irritated and say how bad gog is. if you get a good speed somewhere else and not here it can still be a problem on your end. like you might turn off your security software suite's firewall but if you forget to turn off your windows firewall it doesnt help. and just open your ports then you wont ever have to bother with turning it off.

think you could forget about a refund too, doesnt work like that

and in my own opinion, http works better then the downloader

wormholewizards: You shouldn't be too hard on new member. It just normal if he was angry with GOG given his circumstances.
To OP, maybe you need to fiddle little bit with "no. of concurrent connections" located at GOG downloader option. I change mine to 10, and the downloader download at full speed with no lost connection.
yes so he might have been stressed out something i could totally relate too but no excuse for acting like that. if you buy something at a store, it doesnt work and you go back to that store and go screaming the place together that wouldnt be okay either right?
