predcon: Did you read my entire post? Read it again... Or rather, just the last paragraph at least.

HoneyBakedHam: Actually, I read five paragraphs in... at about two in the morning... and thought, let's google us up some inFamous manual action and see if it is there... It was, and in the spirit of helping, I posted my result...

Then I went to bed, but not before tripping over a pair of shoes and landing on an angry cat.

Are you mad that I tried to find you the manual?
No, part of my post was that when I contacted Sony Support in the first place, they didn't read my request entirely, and gave me an answer that had nothing to do with what I asked. I also said that "The point is moot. Another user on the PSN forums showed me where to get the manual on Replacementdocs".

I was just pointing out the irony.

Delixe: Incidently have you ever even bought a game from GOG? I highly doubt it.
In fact sometimes this week he said himself he didn't. He is probably here only to insult people.

I wonder about some of the people who post in the threads about "modern" games. They complain about them having "outdated" graphics and such. It's like, "Why are you on a site called 'Good Old Games'? The only game sold here with up-to-date graphics is a game made by the same company that runs the site! If it weren't for that association, it probably wouldn't be sold here!". Dumbasses.
if i have to put up with being thanked for continuing to hold EVERY TEN SECONDS for much longer, i may have to kill someone
I'm necromancing this old thread for those still interested in the horror story that is Sony support.

Today, 43 days after I placed my original order, I am actually able to download the movies I purchased. After numerous phone calls and e-mails to Sony where I was told bullshit lie after lie by the clueless Sony techs (and an attempt to get the Better Business Bureau's arbitration services involved on my behalf), I was finally connected with a support supervisor and an account services representative who together were still not able to figure out what caused the problems with this purchase, but were able to force the additional items I purchased into my account so that I can now download them. Why someone didn't just do that weeks ago, I don't know, but this was nothing but a massive failure on Sony's part. Pray you never have to deal with this kind of incompetence yourselves.

i gave up trying to sort my problem out, they wanted me to call again and at this rate the calls would cost more than the £5 game i was trying to get the 50% off, so im just going to email them and voice my disgust
