orcishgamer: That list is a good enough starting point, there's plenty of others to suit quite a few personal tastes, of course, but there's a ton of indie games and some really, really high quality ones.
StingingVelvet: There are good indie games and bad indie games, just like there are good corporate games and bad corporate games. I like good games. What I don't do is pretend everything indie is amazing because OMG GO INDIE. Which according to above makes me anti-indie, I guess.
I'm glad for indie, obviously there will be stinkers, I'll give some indie games a pass that I wouldn't give a AAA title (e.g. bad voicework is more acceptable in an indie), but I'm in favor of good games, and indie games aren't "better" defacto than old games or any other type of game is "better".
As to why I might buy a game that I won't play, both because I can (i.e. it makes me happy) and supporting art, even art that isn't my cup of tea, for such a low price I think is ultimately to everyone's benefit, since it's no big deal to me to have unplayed games and the cost is likewise no big deal, I'm happy to buy almost all the indie bundles that aren't complete ass.
