PredakingCrush: How did you go about getting a copy of Powerslave on PC? I can't find it, even on Ebay, and the odds of it ending up on here are looking pretty grim. Although, if this site gained a license from Playmates Interactive, then I could hope that Meat Puppet would end up here as well, but again, pretty grim odds. Does Playmates Interactive even still exist?

sheepdragon: Exhumed/Powerslave used to belong to a friend of my brother. So that one I just got from him, which has happened with a lot of my older games. My brother and his friends are some 10 years older than me, and managed to get original at the time, and now most of them don't play some of the games anymore, so I usually receive them if I'm interested.
Doesn't seem that Playmates Interactive (olol) exists anymore though. Can't find any information on them at least...

Would you be at all interested in selling that copy of Powerslave? Because I've been trying to track it down for a long time and I would gladly take it off your hands and put it to good use, assuming you aren't still actively playing it of course.

Nah, I still play it, and I like collecting games, so it probably won't leave my hands anytime soon. If I however should feel like selling it, you'll be the first know.
Oh I had forgotten about Cybermage. I gave up on getting it to work (this was before i know how to use dosbox) and its been colecting dust in some dark corner of my room. Now I must dig it up and get it working :D

Never heard of Meat Puppet, but the rest of them are very familiar, especially CyClones, Exhumed and Cybermage which I hold dear.

I had CyClones, Operation: Bodycount, and Corridor 7: Alien Invasion. Sadly, I don't have any of them anymore, nor do I remember what happened to all but Corridor 7, which I gave to a friend when I gave him my 486 long ago. I always wanted Powerslave and used to play the demo a lot.
If you are patient and if you regularly check out all the different Ebays as well as boards devoted to oldies, you should find Exhumed rather easily.
It is not what I would call a rare game. I remember seeing it for sale in its unopened big box a few months ago.
I think it would be much harder to find the other games that you mention, for instance. I have been looking for Corridor 7 for ages and never found it.
Good luck!

There are 11 copies of Corridor 7 for sale on Half.com right now (and by right now, I mean, seconds before I made this reply. The cheapest of those 11 copies is a whopping 99 cents. Perhaps you should purchase one of them...... I did :)
Powerslave was AWESOME! I think i was like, 7 or 8 years old when i got that game. There was something about that egyptian theme with those dirty graphics that made the game scare the hell out of me. My dad to this day tells me i used to play that game all day and night and i really have no idea why. The game had such an eerie feeling to it but for some reason it just pulled me in..

Because it was an amazing game. And the subtle little differences between the console releases of it and the PC version just made it that much better. For instance, in the PSX version, all enemies kind of explode into pieces when they are killed. But in the PC version, every enemy had a different death animation. The only one I remember offhand is the the death animation for the catwomen, they would turn to stone statues when killed and then shatter. Or, for a better example, when you took damage in the console versions, the player character would simply grunt. But in the PC version, when he got hurt, he would loudly yell out "Son of a Bitch!!". It was just a great game, I wish to god I could get ahold of it again.
One thing annoys me about Exhumed/Powerslave though, and that is the strafing. It's just so horribly slooooooooow. Apart from that it's a great game.

PredakingCrush: any of these games
1. Cybermage: Darklight Awakening
2. CyClones
3. Operation: Bodycount
4. Corridor 7: Alien Invasion
5. The Fortress of Dr. Radiaki
6. Meat Puppet
7. Powerslave (AKA- Exhumed)
I remember most of them!!! Damn it could be so nice to see them rereleaced on GOG!!! But those are obscure shooters published by obscure publishers so I guess it's pretty hard to contact these publishers since they are not active anymore!

Wow, that's some serious necromancing there! We hardly ever see threads more than a month or two old re-appear on the forum front page, but you went and found one that is almost two years old now! Impressive, I bow to your superior dead-talking skills.
I own the two first and the last one and I've played them all besides Meat Puppet.
