orcishgamer: Arcanum was always buggy. Those guy's strong suit was never making stable games. I'm sorry you had bugs ruin a great game for you:(

Gazoinks: Aye, Troika and Obsidian. Kings of buggy games. Though it's not entirely their fault. It's more extreme ambition combined with publishers who actually want to see a product at some point. So not selling until it's fixed isn't necessarily plausible.
While that's partly true, they don't get that excuse, a lot of devs are under the same pressure and manage to do a much, much better job.

They are consistently under performing in this regard compared to the industry.

Yeah, totally. It's obviously not a complete excuse to just go, "Bah, evil publishers. Bah". It's just not really fair to entirely blame the developer and say, "Why couldn't they just keep working on it till it was fixed?" either.

gameon: All i was trying to say was that if old games are so messy that they cant be completed, maybe they shouldn't be sold until they are fixed.
It would be very unfortunate if GOG wouldn't sell Arcanum just because they are (legally) unable to ship the unofficial patch with it (but the users have to install it separately instead).
