Not sure what cumulative means here but you only need to install the latest one for each of those. (not 100% sure about ME1 but pretty sure)

Ok thanks that's great news! I was freaking out that I may have install each separate patch, instead of just the latest one

That is what cumulative means. It means the latest patch contains all changes made since the game was released, not just the changes made since the previous patch.

Yeah, FarCry 1 had that problem. There was a 64-bit patch for it that I wanted to install, because I thought it might fix a weird texture issue I was having (big square patches of ground were totally black). Unfortunately, the 64-bit patch was for version 1.33. The way to get from 1.0 (retail) to 1.33 was to run the following patches in order: 1.1 -> 1.2 -> 1.3 -> 1.31 -> 1.32 -> 1.33, and then apply the 64-bit patch, so 7 patches in total. It was ridiculous.
