I think I'd pull a Double Fine Amnesia, with entry allowed to anyone who wanted to. 2 Weeks to give me a pitch script and a prototype of the game, then choose top X (3? 5? 10?) of those and fund them.

I don't have any ideal games I'd like to see made, but there are quite a lot of interesting ideas I'd like to see. Too bad I don't have the cash to do that.
If I had comic resources and did not care about sales I would
1) Give Suda 51 and SWEARY cash to do their thing allowing them to go in the Killer 7 direction.
2) Bring back EA BIG and get them to do more NBA Street and SSX
3) Reunite some people from Team Silent (Akira Yamaoka and dudes that were working on Siren) to develop an horror game set in World War 2 time period in Asia (I'm thinking about Northern China but any rural region would be ok). Civil war, World War and mystery.
There are plenty of lost sequels it's easy to dream about resurrecting: to Arcanum, Outcast, Steambot Chronicles...

My utopian dream, though, is of an RPG that uses a more advanced version of the SpookiTalk parser from The Starship Titanic to replace dialogue trees with chatbot-esque natural language input.

That's possibly the most morbid idea since Ian Bell's <i>Seal Cull</i>. It should definitely be made.
