I have just finished playing Planescape:Torment(which by the way I totally reccoment to anyone that likes roleplaying) and I really don't know which game play next , I've been looking information about some games and i have reduced them to those 5 , but even after readig what they do especially good I am not sure which one to pick. I really appreciate game that have good character development/relations and I havent found much about these , so I would like to know your opinion about which one I should get(first , at least) and if they have memorable characters and why.

P.D: I'm new to the forum , so Hi everyone

Well I think yyou should go with both Baldurs gate because in terms of interaction and development of the charactes it's the best because all the elements of the party interact with each other. But both Fallouts have a very good story and an amazing ambiance and both of them are on sale right now.
BG 1 & 2.
No question!

Rodzaju: BG 1 & 2.
No question!
Definetely!
BG1 is alright, but it benefits greatly from the BG2 engine using Tutu or BGT or similar (though that messes up some stuff as well, especially with regard to weapon proficiencies). BG2 is one of the greatest games of all time, with a good story and lots of memorable party members... and villains! BG1+2 are built using the same engine as PST, with a few changes, and though the spells are almost entirely different. It's set in the same universe, and is medieval fantasy mostly. It's party-based, though you can solo them if you're good, and persistent, but it's very hard to do so. There are some bugs, but most of them are minor. BG2 is probably my favorite game of all time.

Fallout 1+2 are also some of the best games of all time, and some of the same folks who worked on PST also worked on these (especially the second one). It's a different type of engine, it's mostly a solo game though you can get some extra party members, but you can't control them directly. I usually prefer to solo the Fallout games, personally, though making a squad can be fun in Fallout 2. It's set in a futuristic modern-type setting, post-apocalyptic, sorta like if the culture of the 1950s never evolved past the early 1960s, but the technology just kept going and going and going. And it's after the bombs fell, of course. It's quite buggy, so you'll definitely want some fan bugfix patches.

I haven't played Anachronox.

I'd recommend Fallout simply because both of them are on sale this weekend. Honestly though, you'd be doing yourself a grave disservice not to play ALL of them. But with the sale right now, I would suggest playing Fallout first, and then moving on to BG later. (BG is almost never on sale.)
Fallout 1+2, because they are on sale. If you enjoy PS:T, you should check out BOTH BG and FO, so get the ones on sale first.
After torment you should take a break with that engine and play Anachronox.
Do you like dark humor and turning enemies into puddles of goo?

Then Fallout is for you.
I'd go for anachronox, firstly to contradict other posters... secondly coz the game's graphix look so cute ^^ and I just like the style :P reminds me of omikron the nomad soul, don't know why ^^
Fallout(s) are the way. Much richer RPG system, characters and story. Unless you are looking for real party and in-party interactions, then BG or even Anachronox are the way. (The companions in FO1 were an afterthought and essentially hacked into the game, to trade items you have to steal from them lol. In FO2 they have an actual companion menu of sorts, and there are a LOT of joinable NPCs, so things flow better).

As for memorable characters I think FO1&2 OWN all the rest (though I haven't played BG2 yet), followed by Anachronox. My problem with Anachronox is that it's too much of a tongue in cheek joke thing. Anyway, ask anybody, they all remember characters like Myron, Lynette, Marcus, the Master, Maxson, Miria, the Overseer, Goris, Cassidy, Dogmeat, Ian (why are you shooting me in the back, man?), the one I'm nicknamed after, Bishop, the Elder, Gizmo, Killian, Harold, Lenny, Enclave Drill Sergeant, etc. BG has what? Boo?

I haven't played Baldur's Gate 2 or Anachronox but the others you mentioned all have great writing expressed in different ways, though personally I don't find them to be on the same level as Planescape: Torment. I'm yet to find a game which engages me as much in the environment of the game as that one.

If it was me I'd go for something a bit different just because I burn out if I play too much of a similar genre back to back, but if you're intent on one of those games any of them will probably fit what you're looking for. For what it's worth I really enjoyed Baldur's Gate, and some of the characters still stick out in my mind many years later.

It's a shame you missed the Fallout giveaway from last week, but welcome to the forum! hope you enjoy whatever you choose.
Fallout 1 and 2 I would say over the other two options.

Baldurs' Gate I think is pretty overrated (only played the sequel and expansion pack) with it being focused mainly on combat (and I hate memorizing spells versus magic points in computer games) and I find the Forgotten Realms setting to be pretty dull but it does have some cool party member interactions (similar to Bioware's later games like Dragon Age or KOTOR) .

Anachronox I got recently here and I'm vastly disappointed, even though there are way less fights than other JRPG style games, the animations are so slow (there is a button to pres to speed up all the animations in the game though) . and the writing isn't even that great. (obviously I have the minority opinion here) The game made me laugh a few times but I think I'm near the end of the game and I just don't' find it that interesting. The beginning is pretty dull. Arnachronoxx also has basically no role playing options when it comes to story choices.

If you want games that give you a lot of choices about what happens in the setting that the Fallouts are the best bet. But the Fallouts may have the worst character developments out of the three, because there is less of a party based system and more of your'e being alone. And none of the characters from what I remember change that much from the first conversation you have with them from what I remember.

Actually, if you want something that I think has good character development with the nonlinearity of the Fallouts I would say say Arcanum I may be minority opinion here but I found the party members much better in Arcanum. There is also one super cool thing that you can do in ARcanum that I haven't seen in any other game but telling you what it is a spoiler. Note, I think Fallout 1 and 2 are better games just with not as good story or characters because the actual gamepplay is better designed But I just guess I like fantasy steampunk over the Fallout's setting so I may be biased story wise.

Also, it is a shame you weren't on gog just like a week ago because the first Fallout was free for two days! But both Fallout games are on sale for half off this weekend so you should probably try them out!

Off topic- Also, my favorite game is actually Planescape: Torment btw., since to me in that game the story is the gameplay and even though the battle system is not that great most of the time, most of the game is talking and trying to figure out who the heck you are. But to me out of the games I mention the game with the next most interesting lore and characters is Arcanum.
