Question is does he mean just the classic Bard's Tale games or is it going to be the one Inexile did in 2004 with the Apple GS versions of BT 1 and 2 and the Apple 2 version of BT 3?

I'm just curious as to how excited I should get, since I already have The Bard'sTale on Steam but I really don't care for the Apple 2 version of BT 3 which comes with Bards Tale 2004 so it would be nice to be able to get the PC versions.

I don't know anything about "A Bard's Tale". I tried to look it up and came across this.

http://www.thebardstale.com/index.html

I moved my mouse by accident over the girl on the right's chest and the mouse pointer got slapped. Since I'm on an unstable surface, she registered the mouse and slapped it two more times, and I wound up at a California Sexual Harassment Law firm.

Now that's just funny.

This is a little more related, I think.

I don't have any ideas, I follow his twitter for Wasteland 2 but I just thought that someone would maybe be excited for Bard's Tale :)
Ahh, good ol' college days with my Apple IIe, playing Bard's Tale 3: The Thief of Fate. I'd love to play that again.
I saw this announcement earlier :) That is good news for Wasteland 2, it stands to reason WL2 would be here at some point shortly at or after release.
I hope the 2004 version arrives, the one that's available on Steam and tablets. It has great humour and atmosphere.
I probably would have cared more before I picked up the original trilogy and the 2004 game on Steam for $2.50.
If it follows suit to the pattern that's been going on with Bard's Tale lately, it will be a release w/ the 2004 game, and the original 3 (non-related to the 2004 game) releases as extras.

In the past year I've seen Bard's Tale offer the above deal on Steam, and even on ANDROID. The sales for the set have seemed to skyrocket and reignite people's attention towards the game and it's humor, enjoyable story, humor, fun gameplay and humor.

I recently got it on Steam for 2.50 as well, though I'd rather own it on GOG. It's one of the only games I bought on multiple consoles. :)

WOW, awesome find!
Would be nice to get some extra versions (PC or Amiga) of the classic Bard's Tale games here on GOG. Too bad we don't have any kind of CBM Amiga support here when a lot of the older games are at their best on this platform, especially those predating 1990.

I also bought the Bard's Tale (2004) at the recent Steam winter sale just for the added classic trilogy. Didn't know those were the actual Apple II versions. Must have been some extra work for the devs to release it this way. Apple II is the system of origin for the classic Bard's Tale games, though. So it's the most logical way to go.
