Sorry, I just looked and it did appear that I was making it sound that the email was not legit. What I meant was, at first glance it did not appear legit, so I manually checked my passwords.

After checking predcon's link, it was 100% legit. Gladly, I had separate passwords so all I lost out on was online access to a couple of keys.

Absolutely. With "We've been hacked, better change your passwords with this link we've provided you" emails, the first thing you want to do is look for official announcements on the allegedly affected company's site, or at least on (reputable) news sites.
