In debating between pies and cakes, my opinion is that while the latter definitely have the potential to be more delicious, pies have a couple of qualities you just cannot ignore: reason one being the taste factor - they may not be as delicious as good cakes, but a well-baked pie could make my mouth water almost as much; reason two being that pies are just so varied and versatile - pumpkin, pecan, apple, lemon, berries, and let's not forget about savoury pies like the classic chicken pot pie which, combined with a dessert pie, means that you could have an entire meal of pies - awesome, right?

I'll pick something later if you choose this.

Once upon a time, long ago an old monk lived in an Orthodox monastery.
His name was Pamve.And once he planted a barren tree on a mountainside
just like this.

Then he told his young pupil, a monk named Ioann Kolov, that he should water the tree
each day until it came to life.Put a few stones there, will you?
Anyway, early every morning Ioann filled a dipper with water
and went out. He climbed up the mountain and watered the withered tree
and in the evening when darkness had fallen he returned to the monastery.
He did this for three years. And one fine day, he climbed up the mountain and saw
that the whole tree was covered with blossoms!

celebrate an aniversari talking about life.
