It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I upgraded from IE8 to IE9 yesterday.

Problem: None of the forums on the community page 'de-light', meaning, all boards listed on the community page are permanently 'highlighted' regardless of how many times i enter one of those boards, 'highlights' and 'de-lights' are working as they should for threads so i guess that rules out some font rendering weirdness.

I tested this issue with Chrome and the 'highlights'/ 'de-lights work', wich means this is either a IE9 specific problem or something that is wrong at my end .

Confirmation regarding if whether or not this is an issue affecting IE9 or something going on exclusively at my end, in which case i guess i'm looking for a 'fix', would be nice.

I've cleared IE9's cache, deleted all temp files, etc, but no luck so far.

Thanks.

IE9 has some other troubles as well, while GOG takes their time fixing it you can tell IE9 to use its legacy mode for GOG.

Press the "alt" key to show the menu bar, go to tools->Compatibility View Settings. type "gog.com" in the text box and click "Add". That should do it, you might have to restart the browser.

Thanks Miaghstir. Unfortunately it's a no go, boards still won't 'de-light' with legacy mode and after a browser restart.
Hmm.. have you tried disabling some or all add-ons?

I can´t test it on my system because i am running Win XP.

IE9 lists 4 addons. Disabling them all and restarting the browser makes no difference, everything 's still lit up like a christmas tree.
There is also something called protected mode which might interfere with some sites.
It´s enabled by default. Have you tried disabling it?
Click on Tools -> Internet Options - > Security tab
Select the zone you want which is probably the Internet and clear the check box.
Nope, no change.

Thanks for the suggestions though.
And it's not related to GPU vs Software rendering either, Software rendering does make text somewhat look less like shit but doesn't solve the issue.

Why is moving from IE8 to IE9 considered to be an upgrade again ? Jesus.
