I went on Steam last night and noticed Borderlands 2 was on sale for about 10 bucks. So I bought it.

Then later, I noticed Borderlans 2 Season Pass on sale, for about 10 bucks (exact same price).

But now I'm confused as to whether one that purchases Season Pass needs to purchase plain old Borderlands 2.

Did I waste $10 by purchasing both, or are they really two separate things at $10 each??

Thanks for any info. And sorry for the dumb question, I'm just quite ignorant of this stuff.

They are separate. You need the base game in order for the season pass to work since it's just all the DLC.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! Makes me feel better knowing I didn't waste $10. lol

Sorry, I know it was probably a dumb question, but I really couldn't tell for sure. Thanks.

I just bought the game, too, and it's a blast!
Just FYI OldFatGuy, the Season Pass is for 'X' amount of DLC's, not nessecarily all of them.

As someone who has finished Borderlands 2 multiple times, I'll tell you that there is enough content in the vanilla game itself, and the DLC isn't really worth it! Have fun!
