I just found GOG a couple months ago and love everything about it. I love that you make old games usable on newer machines, take away copy protection, keep it all,(including manuals) on my computer and also be able to down-load it again anytime I need to. And I really love the weekend sales.
I love it so much I got my daughter to sign up thinking I could just buy her games on here to see if she'd like them or fulfill items she put on her wishlist. (She lives across the country).
Now I could just give her a copy of my game file since it's on my computer but I don't want to do that because I believe GOG is worth supporting and you have such reasonable prices that I'm willing to buy two copies of the same game if it's a game I love and want to share with her.
Why can't I just look up her user name and see her wish list (if she gives me permission) and/or just gift her a copy of something? It seems to me making this function available would increase sales at GOG, it couldn't hurt. Especially when a game is on sale that I might want to try 2-player it would make it easy to just buy two copies at once.
I read that I can buy a key code that's sent to my e-mail, then send it to her and she can redeem it. But why not make the web site more functional and easy to gift games and fill out someone's wish list? Hey, she might just buy me something on my list.

You can make the wishlist visible if you have GOG Wiki account.
And gifting is pretty easy - you just check 'gift' checkbox on purchase summary and you get a key instead of game on your shelf. You can give the code to whoever you wish :)

You can also ask her to use the Barefoot Monkey script to help with the GOGWiki.
And vote for buying multiple copies feature in the wishlist.

Welcome!
I suggest doing this to streamline the process of sending her gifts:

1) send her a PM (if you want help with this, I have an idea).
2) check "gift" option every time you make a purchase you want to gift.
3) copy paste the code you get on the purchase screen and PM it to her.
Alternative to 3) go to "gifts" in your My Games section, and you'll see all the gift codes you've purchased there, and can copy/paste, and then PM that.

edit: as for viewing her wishlist, instead of GOG wiki, I suggest the PM system again! But sometimes GOG PM system eats your PMs and you have to send again. Just something to keep in mind.
