I asked the support some time ago when my reputation was also very low and they told me they won't do it. If they have changed attitude, that would be cool.

I choose Momo1991's as solution and I give rep to Zurvan7's post (alternative solution).

It only took me a year and a half, but I finally changed mine. For anyone else that wants to change your nickname just go here and there is a drop down that says change nickname.
