I asked this in the support page on my account, but got no response.

Basically, I want to know if I am able to have my account voluntarily terminated. The sub agreement ONLY states that GOG.com can terminate an account without warning and for any reason, but does not mention anything about whether a user can request a termination. I'm not seeking any refunds.

Whats the point in terminating your account?
If you don't want to use it, just don't use it? Is there something about terminating that I'm not understanding?
Any particular reason you'd want to? Keep buying too many games or something?
You could probably send an email and ask them. Most likely a case by case basis.

Or even better, ask your bank to file a chargeback. GOG will cancel your account anyway. :P
Last time someone asked this, I believe the GOG guys said they won't delete an account. If you don't want to use GOG anymore, just don't use it.
The account doesn't store any financial information. And if you've downloaded anything you've bought and backed it up to your satisfaction, you can't be cut off from it if your account is hijacked. So theoretically there's no serious danger to just letting it float in limbo forever.
You are not signing a subscriber agreement so no you can't terminate your account. It's an utterly pointless question as if you want to stop using it you simply stop using it.
If you want to ensure you never come back to your account, change your password and e-mail once to something random that you'll never, ever remember. If you just don't want to come back to the site any longer, and deleting the account isn't an option.
Its not a pointless question.

A user might want his information erased to protect against forms of identity theft. Or he might want to close an account that another person has commandeered access to. Or he might want to do something to clearly demonstrate he protests GOG's conduct (like in the recent promotional gag).
As others have pointed out, GOG doesn't store credit card info, they ask each time you buy stuff. You could change your email to a temp email account then delete the email. But yeah, GOG is not a service so there's not much to cancel. If you have exposed a particular piece of personal info, about which you are worried, you can always ask to have that one piece of info purged. It might not happen, but you can ask.

The website and accounts page of the support section has a pretty good answer for that one. I'll be kind and paste it below, but please consider looking among the support pages before asking questions that are already answered there.

10. How do I cancel my GOG.com account?
We have no idea why you'd want to do that, but if you will ever want to cancel your GOG.com user account, please contact us via the "General / Website questions" contact form. After verifying you are the owner of the account in question and confirming that you want your account to be permanently deleted, our support rep will delete the account for you. Please remember that without an account, you won't be able to re-download your purchased games as well as any additional content available, including updates and patches. Also, if you don't want to receive newsletters from us, you can always unsubscribe via your My Account -> Account & Settings page. Most importantly, account deletion is permanent. It won't be possible to “recreate” the deleted account later, if you change your mind.
Wonder if I can get GOG to cancel other people's accounts.

Well all it takes is:
After verifying you are the owner of the account in question
You'd just need to gather enough data to be able to convince them you're the actual owener.

I imagine it'll take a bit more than gathering e-mail addresses and names to do so. There'll probably be e-mail verification involved.
