I just heard here on forums that this game is for free.So i was wondering could it be possible that it apears on GOG just for collection sakes,like Tyrian did??

Still would need EA to sign on with GOG. EA only make games 'free' to promote games and it's on very strict terms. The only website allowed to distribute the free C&C games is commandandconquer.com.

Cra*.Hmmm...So any idea what chances are that GOG sings with EA?!?

The recent press conference revealed a big pubisher has signed from: EA, Lucasarts, Microsoft, 2K or Square-Enix (Eidos). Could be EA, then again could not be. We will have to wait till July/August to find out.

EA offered C&C 1, Red Alert and Tiberian Sun + Expansions for free during the C&C 3 promotion. EA is not hosting these files any more, as far as i know.
These files can still be found hosted on several sites that claim these downloads are still legal.
I don't know if this is true.
