Well isn't this exciting? I had no idea it was coming, then bam, here it is.

Has anyone played it yet, or have any idea how long it's been out?

For those of you that haven't played the original, it's here on GOG and it is a true classic in every sense of the term. I sincerely hope that this new one lives up to it's predecessor.
I'm surprised about this release as well. I heard absolutely nothing about it up until I found a link to it on Gamer's Gate, not even so much as a post on any of the forums I visit. You would think that a sequel to such a classic as cannon fodder would get more attention.

Not if you outsource it to a CIS studio whose products have never risen above "passable".

So has anyone actually played it yet? Any word if it lives up to the hype that it evidently didn't get?
What other games have that studio released outside of the CIS region?

Also, there is apparently a demo out there, but it is in Russian.

It looks like a real mixed bag. Some games are supposed to be quite good (Xenus 2 for an example), but most are games that I have not even heard of.
Yikes, those screens look unappealing. I might give it a try once it's on sale, but not for 26 Euros!
At first I thought this was great news, but then I watched a couple of gameplay videos. The game looks extremely bad...
Unsure of this.Like Hollywood, sounds like game studios have really started to really dig into the past a bit too much.... :/
