Ive been wondering what it is for months now and its kinda hard to describe since i dont remember much(i was only a little kid) but i think it might have been a comodore or amiga game from the early 90s/late 80s

basically all i remember of the gameplay was that the graphics were very very basic, there was no detail, the grass was just 1 colour of green, the sea was 1 colour of blue etc and i seem to remember you could use a boat to get round, i think it was a third person game, like a game you could explore with, i think there was npcs too but my memory is very fuzzy, this is all i can remember so it might be hard to find out

any help would be appreciated

Sounds a lot like the early Ultima games. Perhaps Ultima 4?
