Hey, guys. Back in the late nineties, I got a bunch of shareware floppies from the dollar store (don't ask about the legitimacy of them selling shareware, just roll with me here).

My favorite of the games was this space flight combat game.

It took place from the top-down perspective, and all of the ships you could fly were decked out in custom paint liveries like racing stripes, flames, etc.

I remember vividly that the other pilots would curse at you, and often.

There was little to no voice that I can remember, all of the dialogue was in text.

Oh, and the last thing I can remember about this game is that you could fly from one side to the other by just flying, a-la Pac Man, except the screen would scroll with you, instead of you appearing on the other side of the map.

I really hope some of you can help me brainstorm and try to remember the exact name of this game, so I can track down a full version copy of it.

Solar Winds perhaps?

Psyringe: Solar Winds perhaps?
No, Solar Winds is far too involved. This game was basically Death Rally, minus the racing and plus a huge emphasis on deathmatch arena play.
Rubber baby buggy BUMPers.

I just took a look at all those games, and none of them are the game I played.
