Catshade: Commence the wild mass guessings!

JMich: Don't think it can get wilder than this guess, would be really funny if it's true though.

Then it turns out 4Chan is actually GOG in disguise, because Marcin is actually an incredibly offensive person who needs to let off steam on the Internet somewhere...

wolfsite: Hoping for Lucasarts bringing there catalog to GOG.

Also hoping more freeware/Abandonware like The Bard's Tale series.

Sir-Tech would be a nice Addition also for the Wizardry series.

DCT: Sir-Tech is dead I don't recall who owns their non wizardry catalog, but I believe that there already signed with GOG(could be wrong) while the Wizardry series was sold off to some small Japanese company which in turned is owned by some company called Gamepot or something to that effect, plus there is still the mess with Andrew Greenberg still being due money on the Wizardry series.
Hate it when people remind me that Sir-tech is no more...... they made such great games <sigh>.....

-Somewhat off topic-
I do have Wizards & Warriors (D.W Bradley worked on this after Wizardry V-VII) but could never get it to run properly on newer systems.
I suspect...

1. Some big name games coming to GOG.
2. Big numbers on flashy grids.
3. News about their RPGs.
4. Possible new publisher like THQ, NovaLogic or Zenimax.
5. TET's hat.
Here's what I expect.

1) Gushing about success of TW2
2) Let's take another look at TW2
3) Maybe a peek at a new game (either TW3 or the other one)
4) Something that tangentially relates GOG to this ("New game will be on GOG whenever we're done with it")

5. TET's hat.
1 hour long bla bla bla about their new RPGs , 15 minutes about " the new and exciting " feature of GOG ( another version of their downloader :p )
The GOG part will probably be like: "hey guys, this is pretty exciting, we'll keep releasing games at a steady pace. here, some of you, have a free game" and then people go mental and start building rage powered laser cannon pyramids while sacrificing farm animals to fuel their bitterness. Finally, in the darkness of the night, a desperate "Why did you make me do it, GOG, why!? All I wanted was a big, truly exciting announcement, whyyy.." echoes through the now laser scorched barren valleys..

I congratulate them on doing so well with TW2, but I'm not interested in that series; I want to know what exciting Good Old Games games will pop up here in the coming months (just don't say /when/, so rivals don't know when to have the sale).
Not announced here = probably nothing about GOG that we don't already know.

I guess Headlock Games owns the IP rights... I guess a blue one can tell us if they have more info about it
I would like to hear how they are doing. Something like "Sales grew by 800% last year" would be reassuring. :)

Fesin: Isn't it obvious? With S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 cancelled and GSC Game World closed down, they obviously bought the rights to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from Sergei Grigorovich (what else he's going to do with it?).

So, gog.com gets the first 3 S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Games, and CDProjekt are developing a new title, thus making it their second major IP.
I will come to Austria and kiss you if that is correct. :)

Problem is a couple sales here(and new additions) got eclipsed by other sites offering similar sales, and sometimes for less money....even with GOG not saying a peep. Odd, isn't it?
Watching Jesse Cox's jokes fall flat was the best thing about the last conference (well... the free Fallout thing was OK too), so I hope they bring him back :)
