I think you may just have to spam it until it loads, but I wouldn't trust it right now because clearly the server is just ignoring half of the incoming requests.

It worked..... very slowly

I think "very slowly" is the catch-word today ... either their 'massive upgrade' is a failure, there are more than 6x as many people as have *ever* been online at once, or a combination of both. Because I never had issues with the site - until today!

Most likely the latter, users will all be trying to access the site as soon as they can at the hyped 1pm opening time after going without GOG for a few days. Also there are probably those who realised that they probably should have backed up their installers rather than deleting them after downloading and installing them, so that's probably adding to the slowdown aswell.

Well, when I say worked... it kinda froze after I put in my details.

I closed the tab, reloaded GOG.com and opened my account, and there it was.

So, not sure if it's working correctly...

I'm afraid to try. I may end up buying extra copies of Baldur's Gate if I hit the button more than once.
Hell, I can't even get to my account page to see all my games!

Oops. It finally came up. Things are finally starting to work!

Seems to be - I bought BG as well, and it is now downloading.

I don't have the GoG downloader on this PC (netbook, usually download elsewhere and run installer from a flash drive) ... and THAT download is absolutely failing!
