Wow. Did you guys knew about that? Some hacker(group) named Aquabox made an infected copy of Windows OS and infected Pcs from all over the world were used as botnets.

Using those botnets, Aquabox managed to steal 500 mln dollars from accounts on entire globe.

Lately, Microsoft with Interpol attacked the botnet and sucessfully disable 1,000 out of 1,400 actively working Pcs. The identity of Aquabox remains unknown.

Today's cybercrime, no longer a sci-fi.

They helped take down Rustock, Zeus and Bamital or Bamitel (something like that) a year or two ago. I think it was Rustock that had infected like 20+ million machines.

Stupidly crazy amount of people still fall for internet scams. :/

Yeah, but still... It sounds like it was some sci-fi movie, but it's not.

Cybercrime, Cyberterrorism, it all happens right now. It's even more excting to me, because I just learned about it today. I guess it doesn't deserve national news, no more than another drunk father abusing his child.
