Opening before you amazing worlds to explore--and save!

The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, two chapters in one of the most enchanting stories ever told in adventure games, are available bundled together 70% off. That's $7.48 for the complete set of two for the next 24 hours! Games also available separately, 60% off.

One of the most memorable and cherished titles in the history of adventure gaming is [url=http://www.gog.com/game/the_longest_journey]The Longest Journey, a magical story of two very different worlds, that seem to be doomed to collide. April Ryan, a young arts student, unwillingly drawn into an interdimensional intrigue, is the only person who can make a difference. What she doesn't know embarking on her quest, is that there's much more than meets the eye to each of the worlds, and that they're not as far apart as the first impression suggests. The phenomenal story had to wait six long years for continuation, but it finally arrived in the form of Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, a gorgeous and powerful vision that just begs to be visited. With more action-oriented gameplay and a full 3D environment, the sequel explores and expands the story of its predecessor to create a satisfying and enthralling experience, worthy of its legacy.

If you're looking for some brave new lands to visit, lands that will amaze you and fill you with awe, you can't go wrong with The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, for only $7.48 on GOG.com. The 70% off bundle offer is available until Tuesday, March 11, at 10:59AM GMT. The games are also available separately with 60% off discount. Titles you already own on GOG.com count towards the higher discount rate.

Elinnea: So tempting! I've been hoping to try out both of these games for a while, but I haven't yet played the Syberia duo that I purchased a little while ago. I'm trying to stick to my principles and not keep buying games while my backlog stacks up. 70% sounds so tempting though... and these two are actually more interesting to me, so if I got them now I'd probably go through them first, and leave Syberia for later.

I guess the responsible thing would be to resist this one today, and hope that it goes on sale again at some point in the future. And then go play the game I've already spent money on.

*conflicted*

TheOperaGhost: Sounds like you've already lost. ;)
Hah!

So far I'm still holding out. 10 hours to go! I went and read some negative reviews about the first game to keep myself motivated. :P

Don't worry, GOG, you'll have my business. Whenever I end up getting this game it will be here. But it will not be this day! Self-discipline will triumph and the forces of evil temptation will be vanquished!

... actually I just enjoy making my life feel like an epic fantasy.

Those Syberia games are weak. Very weak. Just a bunch of pretty pictures, barely even anything to "play." TLJ is one of the best if not the best adventure game ever. Spend your time and money on TLJ and only play Syberia when you want a peaceful snowy world to walk through and look at. I'd play TLJ 10 more times and I've already played it a few times. Syberia I played once (both of them, once through) and felt like I lost hours of my life that I'd like back and will never play them again.
Unfortunately, I bought The Longest Journey full priced on Steam back in like August 2013. Should of waited for a deal like this! Add Dreamfall, sequel to TLJ, and both games under ten bucks, and you have got an amazing deal!
Finally, I've caught Dreamfall on special! GOG, you rock my little cotton socks off

Niggles: For what its worth the third kickstarted one will probably be at least 30 bucks + very expensive.
Actually even more expensive for me, I missed the kickstarter, but still did a slacker backer on their website for US $75 or AUD $86 so I get more goodies but I'd expect it will be cheaper for those buying on GOG later. Damn kickstarter and crowd funding it ruins my inner scrooge

Buy it from here as well, you know you want to.

So has anyone experienced much problems with TLJ on Win 7, I noticed the game page glaringly omits that version of windows, a quick look in the forum and I didn't spot any issues, people seem to be saying it is just fine. Just wanted to see what sort of time frame I should play it in as I'm still on XP and will go to 7, as 8 holds no appeal to me.

Lately, I've been able to resist buying by remembering all the games I haven't finished (or started playing) yet.
