And u still have to create an acc & log in in Steam to use ur games. I have a 4GB Xbox 360 and the only hassle using it is the XBLA,but u can always put in a 16GB flash drive just incase :)

The last xbox live update increased it to 32GB, so using two you can have 64GB of relatively cheap storage now.

First: why on earth did you buy the 4GB model!?
second: settings->profile->sign-in preferences ->Profile auto sign-in ON
Third: why did you turn OFF autosign in? seriously you had to choose for it NOT to be active on the first account made!

Third: I didn't. But it could be something that happened along the way. I first created a profile on the device, then realised it wasn't connected to my existing online profile (which I'm not sure what I had, but it does list a couple of Games for Windows Live games, so maybe because of that), so I logged in to that, and had no idea how I move the avatar I created to it, so now I have both a local and a Live account and I'm asked to choose.

Is it possible to have two 32GB drives? It wasn't clear from Microsoft's site. I bought a 16GB one because all the articles said that was the max, but then I read on Microsoft's site that 32GB is possible. However the page said something about 32GB being enough and otherwise buy a disk, so I assumed that meant only one USB disk is supported.

PC master race. But I 'discovered' Playstation consoles in 2011 and now 99% of my gaming is done on them -_- Because I sit by pc at work all day and when I come home I have no desire to continue doing that. Instead I lay in my armchair and and have sexi time with ps2 or ps3 games.

They lied >.< even if you had to import it (which I doubt) kinect was released alone first the packs with it in came later.

The second I'd say set your online account as the auto login account it makes more sense unless you have kids around then set a child account as the login and pass phrase your adult account (it's a string of 3-6 joypad button presses)

I've been playing mostly on consoles my entire life, and after having purchased a bunch of games from GOG, I gotta say that to me it's more of a stark contrast than a comparison.

2 analogs, a digital pad, and 10 buttons vs. a boatload of keys and a mouse.

It feels almost bewildering reading a manual (like Deus Ex, for instance) and reading that most keys on the keyboard have a purpose in the game. It really allows for complexities that consoles can't do. Being the player/collector/enthusiast that I am, I find myself fascinated by what I've been missing.

They didn't lie. It's possible to import a Kinect or buy it at the rare places who sell it (and probably import it themselves) but it's expensive, and if you import it you of course lose the chance of easily getting support if something is wrong.

Should be, I don't have any 32gb flash drives, but I have a 16 and a 2 I use with my 360. They both work fine together in my 4gb 360 with a HD installed.

Just so you know, you can set your profile to auto-sign in when you log in. Or even set your XBox 360 to launch directly into the game disc whenever one is inserted or on boot up.

Profiles used to be a bit of a pain, but now they sync to the cloud and are all around pretty easy to utilize.

That 4GB drive would annoy the shit out of me, honestly, more than anything else.
Just trash the local profile. You can copy all your game saves into your online profile (do that first!), you merely can't earn achievements for those saves.

Set the online profile to auto sign in. Online profiles also function as offline profiles.

Until the Xbox they were really two completely different hobbies in a lot of ways. The genres tended to be very different, the target markets, the franchises. The Xbox dragged PC gaming genres, styles and franchises into the living room for a new audience and effectively merged two very different groups into one.

Which should have been a greater thing than it was, providing more choice for everybody, in reality it provided more choice for people like me and screwed PC gamers. Sorta wish we could have avoided the last bit.
