I have just Partitioned my boot drive on my PC and was surprised how easy it was to setup a dual boot drive with both Win Xp Pro 32 bit and Win7 pro 64 bit.

If you are getting compatibility issues with Win7 I would strongly suggest going this route, I've done it to help future proof my PC , as I've heard an ugly rumour that Battlefield 3 is going to be Windows 7 only !

I sincerely hope that's not the case, but if it is, and it's the beginning of the end for XP, at least I have the new OS installed. !

The partition software I used was " EASEUS partiiton magic", and it's free for the private user, without any registration process. This partitoned the drive very fast and very efficiently.

The installation of Win 7 Pro 64 bit was painless and it is a sweet OS.

If you were wondering what the difference between Win 7 32 bit and 64 bit is, its simple.
Win 7 64 bit can address as much ram as you can fit in your PC, whereas 32 bit has the same limitiation as XP, and can only address the first 3.5 Gigabytes ( Approx ) of Ram.
However, there's not a game on the market that utilises more than 4 gig of ram, so it may not be an issue.
