Edited due to Stoic's message below me. A quick wiki on Poland revealed 16 states and I knew it had been occupied several times in its history, but alas :(

Yeah the ease with which people were taking Poland without even having other guesses kinda freaked me, so a little extra hint there... hopefully that will help.
