Hello! On behalf of Novotnus, I give you a 3 part puzzle. Before I lay down the gauntlet, a little bit of house rules.

Each part ends with an "answer" to me via PM. The person to give the correct solution for the part gets the game associated to that puzzle. If you have the answer, PM me but also tell me if you are interested in the prize. If you are not, and are only interested in the puzzle, answering it will push the puzzle forward to the next part. I will indicate that the key for the previous part is still available should someone answer it already but isn't interested in the game.

[STEAM]
Part 1: Post Mortem
Part 2: Still-Life
Part 3: Still-Life 2

REMEMBER TO LET ME KNOW IF YOU'RE REDEEMING IT OR ONLY ARE INTERESTED IN PUSHING THE PUZZLE GIVEAWAY FORWARD.

As a final note: I have tried hard to make this much more solvable than the last one. Good luck to everyone and give thanks to Novotnus! Oh... and check out his giveaway!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part 1: Post Mortem
You stepped into the alley in this cold and dreadful night. It was very late when you had gotten the call. Your skills had once again been called for to solve another crime and with little hesitation, you grabbed your coat and braved the chill.
“Good evening, inspector...”
Emerging from the darkness, the experienced Captain Salvador stroked his beard and gave you a respectful nod.
“Another crime that needs my help?”, you wistfully asked.
“Yes, but this one...”, the captain’s voice cracked. “This one... is different.”, he closed, emphasizing the horrifying nature of this one.
“Let’s get started then, captain.”
“This isn’t like any of the others, inspector.”, Salvador began as he lead you to the crime scene. “Crimes are often acts of passion... this one is calculated... almost as if sending a message.”
Such were the most dangerous kinds of criminals, vermins with the clear intent to create chaos for whatever demented games they had in store. You gave a meaningful nod as both of you walk past the policemen that were brushing for prints.
When you turned the corner, you paused at the sight before you. Brick walls had been drenched in blood, or what it appears to be. Even worse, the captain’s words was a dark foreboding to an evil that was much colder than any night you’ve experienced.
On the blood that smeared the walls was words. It was a message, a challenge to whoever was interested. Inevitably, it was a gauntlet thrown before you.
“Let’s see who comes to play my game... was someone killed? Who was it? Slip a note to the Colonel’s inbox... if you can find the identity from my clues.”
Below the message was a set of questions. If you had any hope of catching him, you knew you had to play his game.
1. The City of Angels? 1
2. The number of cities in this “County”. 1
3. Year of the XXIII Games. 3
4. Year of The Great Miseries of War. 2
5. “Estates” divadlo. 1
6. “_____” Havel of 1989. 6
7. “Ford” City? 3
8. I am long, I am TINY, ‘tis all fair; the link I give takes you there.
After the questions was another taunt.
“Have you figured it out? Do you know where you have to go to find out who it is? Make sure it matches, if not you’ll be lost.”
Just when you were beginning to lose hope however, you see a blood trail that leads you to a body. The dead lady was cold and stiff and the bloody scrawlings had all dried up.
“Very good, player! You’ve found the body, but have you found the name?“ Look carefully and search. It is here and it is very near.
Part 2: Still-Life
Searching the abandoned lot, you came across another body of a woman, but the head was missing. This sick killer had more in store and the game was far from over.
“You really want to play then! Here’s another one... and where’s the head?”
Below the words was a poem. It was another challenge for you to deal with.
beaten and dead, she cried with fright;
in fear of death that loomed in sight.
tis wonderful, oh, the whore of the night;
lovely it is, my knife so bright;
yearned for her heart, with her fading might.
1 wonders what thy feel; what it is to love and kill.
5 days I believed in their lies; so pretty, so nice.
2 of them all guilty; their souls both filthy.
0, to nothingness; their lies made me less
So, I delivered justice; to end their hisses.
oh, it is painful; yet they must pay in full.
zeal to deceive; and now I grieve.
Walking about the dead body, you suddenly feel a different sound from the floor itself. “Something’s not right...”, you mutter to yourself. Reaching for the shovel, you quickly scrape off the dirt to find a pair of wooden doors leading underground. The blood stains around the handle was unmistakable.
You open the doors and carefully descend to the passage. There you find a note along with the head of the lady.
“Congratulations! You’re better than I give you credit. This time, no tricks. Slip a note to the inbox... and say: ‘Open Sesame Street!’”
--
And as the killer promised. No tricks. Just PM the phrase to me. :-)
Congrats to blakstar!
Hint (for Part 3):
As you stand there pondering over the details of the victims, suddenly you hear a tape play. The chilling voice from the hidden sound system read a poem, no doubt the murderer still in a playful mood.
First, it's about their work load.
Then, the whore secretary's abode.
Where do the wenches hide, each with her lover?
Lastly, what is her name and then the other?
I own all of them already but I'm not brave enough to have those installed. I mean Post mortem was pretty good.. Still life is pretty good until you get the first chest puzzle. "I don't get it" echoes in the night. Still that video was pretty awesome. When I maim people I want to be just as artistic. ^^
More is to come :)
And, the codes are for Steam (wasn't mentioned in OP). Already handed them to niniendowarrior, so... everything is in his hands now :)
Thanks, niniendowarrior for preparing this puzzle!
Come on, give it a try :) I still owe you for System Shock 2 :)
SL1 is pretty good. SL2 suffers from poor 3D and B-movie villain, but for a completionist...
(yes, this was a bump - triock, where are you when we need you?)
