Are we ever going to see Arena and Daggerfall? They've been released free by Bethesda, so they'd make great additions to the freebie library of Good Old Games. I'd get it off of the Bethesda websites, but I like having games from GOG, especially if they come X/Vista compatible.

GOG doesn't have Zenimax signed yet so no Bethesda or id. :(

They use DOSBox, links to an installer that sets it up for you is in the other recent thread about these games.

Check out ArenaSetup and DaggerfallSetup. These native Windows installers set everything up for you, are XP/Vista/7 compatible, include optional patches and fixes, etc.

Very cool. Thanks for posting this.
If Bethesda ever comes to GOG, which one would think they will, I am sure they will throw these up as freebies or as part of a package. Same with the first two GTA games and 2K.
Daggerfall might be too buggy for GOG to support. Then again, how much support could you expect for a free game.

If you want to encourage ZeniMax (Bethesda's owner) to offer more games, grab a copy of Arx Fatalis. ZeniMax also owns Arkane Studios which developed and published Arx Fatalis.
