Read that this game only has three levels.

Is it as short as it sounds or is that three levels filled with various sub-stages or three different areas that branch off everywhere like in Master Blaster?
I wouldn't know. I've been wanting this game since it came out, but Capcom refuses to listen to reason and dispose of the five-time activation limit for a $5 game. Ought to ask some pirates about how it is. :)

Can you renew the 5 activations once they are used up?

I haven't really been able to figure that out. I've been on the fence about buying it, especially when it goes on sale. I mean, for $5, I could probably live with activation limits, but it's the principle of the thing. Capcom seems to think this kind of DRM is a good strategy, and plenty of people are trying to convince them otherwise. I'd much rather hope for them to see terrible sales, rather than telling them that activation limits are acceptable.

Of course, being a Japanese company like Capcom, I'd expect any official response to blame either piracy or a lack of audience on the PC, and have nothing to do with the hundreds complaining on their forums about the DRM... >_>

For what it's worth, it looks like a good game. I've listened to some of the music, and what I've heard was pretty good. I don't know what the game plays like or how long it is (I've tried to avoid watching videos), but if you're curious enough, I suppose it wouldn't hurt too much to take the jump. It's from Capcom, so even if it's short as hell, it'd probably make up for that with difficulty, and would likely be a polished and entertaining game.

Funny that the actual Dark Void doesn't have this DRM, got less favorable reviews, and doesn't interest me at all, yet I want to play Dark Void Zero.
