Hey folks. Have been a huge fan of GOG.com since last year. They have been releasing some great games I forgotten about and make them easy to install and play.
The recent announcement of Atari brining their games on board has gotten me really interested though. The reason is that there the Deadlock series, basically a civilization like game that I played years ago. It was a lot of fun and hopefully other folks here remember the game as fondly as I did.
Since last I heard, Atari holds the publishing rights to this series and since GOG.com said they would be brining some of their "cult hits" to the service, I'm really hoping Deadlock is one of them! Anyone agree with me?
I think someone will link you to the wish list briefly. You just wait.
That said, I remember one time I had this certain amount of money and could buy one of two games: either Iron Blood, an anime-like Robot Plataformer or Deadlock.
I spent a LOT of time wondering why I didn't get Deadlock.

I played the hell out of the demo and I loved it, but I never was sure if it was because I played the original Deadlock demo when I was 7 or 8 or because it was actually a good game. I'd be willing to try it out if they actually did release it though.
Oh man.. I love the Deadlock series, and I've been hoping that GOG would put it up. I remember the first time I played it, and how much I wanted my dad to buy it for me at our local Office Depot...
When Deadlock 2 was released, I was also dying to play it... I didn't have any money, and I knew my parents would not get it for me. So I thought if I asked Accolade themselves, they would be kind enough to send me a copy. I typed up a letter explaining my situation, slapped a stamp on it, and hoped for the best. They sent me a copy the next week. I was overjoyed.
