Charity action for Child's Play.
www.desertbus.org
This is happening right now (November 19) and will continue till November 24.
The main reason I'm writing about it are copies of Planescape Torment signed by the development team that will be up for auction. Someone might be interested in those.
how on earth could you not mention this lot...

The Irrational Lot

System Shock 2 “bog box” version – PC – VERY RARE – signed by Ken Levine; Bioshock – PC – Signed by Ken Levine; Freedom Force – PC – Signed by Ken Levine; Freedom Force vs. The 3rd Reich – PC – Signed by Ken Levine
A lot of those would be very cool to have but I shiver to think the amount of money it would take to even purchase one, probably more than I spent on my car.

probably more than I spent on my house...
This looks awesome ,never heard of it before. And the Penn & Teller reference is nice.

Most interesting to see, who is missing on the sponsors side.

Edit: They should really put sme of that stuff into mass production!

Well, it's an auction, so expect to pay way more than 5.99 or 9.99. The Brutal Legend lot went for $777. Don't know if it's in house/car range though.

I don't think it'd be a house here, but it might be a year's worth of rent or mortgage payments for a few of those. I know it's for charity and that generally inflates prices but I've looked at even low end collectible art in the past and it's pretty brutal to even contemplate. In fact I kind of wonder if even well paid worker bees like me could ever afford that shit, seems more like a thing for business owners that can use their business accounts like a ATM.

I actually own a car now that I paid less than that for, though I'm selling it off since I've mostly fixed up a nicer one.

I know last year PAX had a lot sell for over $120k my house cost me ~$70k seriously I think most of the bidders are the peoples own companies at times
