8) waking up while on a family trip to my aunts to a copy of Full Throttle sitting on the table beside me
9) finding a copy of Shadow Hearts 2 at a pawn shop for 5 bucks, and in nearly perfect condition
10) convincing my gf at the time to play Quake with the guys and I on a LAN server and watching her kick their asses.

There are probably more things I cannot remember, but those are some things I really cherish that I've had the joy of experiencing. :)
Count me in, let me type it up, will post it's when done. Thanks for your generosity, +1

Ah, man, I'm the worst video game player in history because all of my gaming related memories are kind of lame, but here goes:

1) the first time I saw Mario get all large after eating a mushroom.

2) rescuing my brother (playing as Leonardo) in TMNT co-op (SNES). I always chose Raphael, so my bro has teased me since then about being hot-headed like Raphael, haha.

3) making my two years older than me cousin cry after losing to me a few times in a row at Twisted Metal, haha, aw we were such silly kids.

4) Oh yeah, the opera scene in FF6! That was such a sweet moment :)

5) the scariest game I watched at the time (since I didn't have the heart to play it), Resident Evil. I had my parents remove the bed stand from my room because I was scared of zombies under the bed, haha.

6) When that character died in FF7. I remember not going back to the game for a while after that happened.

7) shape shifting Alucard in Castlevania Symphony of Night, I don't know why I found that so joyful ^^

8) Then I watched my cousin play Soul Reaver; never felt so empathetic towards a character before Raziel.

Uh, what else...

9) Finding out the connection between Liquid and Solid snake! And also their connection with Big Boss. Oh, man, what a controversy that was for me, haha! I should mention that I didn't play this game personally, my brother played it, and I watched along (when he would allow ^^)

10) being really good at Zelda and Sonic games, I used to finish levels for my friends.

11) Falling in love with the theme song for Nights. ~This is your nights, dancing free till the morning, nights~ I loved that game simply because of the song :D

12) being disturbed while trying to snipe the leading evil lady in FF8 (don't remember her name). I've done so many horrible things in video games since then, but that moment really struck me for some reason.

...I can't remember anything after FF8, I kind of stopped playing games for a while honestly, and I didn't come back to them till later.

13) never losing to my friend at Super Smash Bros Brawl; I'm pretty badass with Kirby. Or maybe he's letting me win. Haha, no, he would love to rub my face in a loss.

And then I stopped playing games again while I was in college. But now I'm having the time of my life getting reacquainted with them, and it was actually Skyrim which pulled me back in (whatever :p).

14) getting into TES lore and TES games. I enjoy the world they've created with the lore, and I hope they utilize the lore better in future games.

15) all of The Witcher 2! I've never been more in love with a game since I've played TW2.

...honestly, the types of games I play now (shooters and action games) are really more about challenging player skills, so I can't come up with any substantial memories, but you asked for 25 :p

16) beating all my friends' scores in sleeping dogs. I also enjoyed the crazyass shooting-from-a-moving-vehicle sequences. Twas fun.

17) beating Bioshock series, first survival game series I played and finished by myself.

18) Haha, okay a silly one: I once got a herd of buffalo to stampede on a camp of mercs by throwing a grenade in Far Cry 3; the mercs took a heavy hit, and I chuckled while sniping the remainder of them from a tower.

19) beating the following games on their toughest modes on my first try: Crysis series, several Tom Clancy games, TW2, Batman games, Hard Reset, Bioshocks, FC3, Darksiders (first one), and many, many others I can't be bothered to remember. I very rarely use hints, but maybe I play easy games. I don't know, suggest something tough if it occurs to you, doesn't matter what it is :)

Oh, I guess I could mention some DS games.

20) finding out the back story of Professor Layton and his fiancee in Unwound Future. Aw, the hurts.

21) creating a Prussian empire in Empire Total War by taking over all of Europe in hard mode, excluding Russia (which is next, muahahaha).

22) Silent Assassin ratings in ~90% of levels in Hitman BM and Abs; the other 10% are not done because I stopped playing both games shortly before their ends, I don't know, got bored, despite BM being really cool.

23) Oh yeah, the soundtrack in Age of Wonders Shadow Magic, really inspires me to make my own music.

24) Not having had to use a walkthrough once for The Last Express (haha).

25) in general, finding out that games let you play without HUDs.

See, I told you the list was going to be lame :p No one in my family was crazy about games while I was growing up, our parents got us the popular titles because these products were hot, but they were more into us reading and stuff, hah.

Thanks for the giveaway! Here I go :)

1. Beating VVVVVV for the first time. Such a fucking hard game o3o
2. Getting all 120 stars in Super Mario 64. Yoshi was so cool!
3. Beating Hotline Miami. Last couple of levels (before the epilogue) were hard!
4. Getting the achievement for beating the first level in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. It glitched and made me replay it twenty times before it gave it to me!
5. Defeating the Master Hand in SSB for the first time as a kid. Man, what a cool death animation!
6. Beating Paper Mario with my dad as a kid. A bonding experience that lasted with me forever :)
7. Beating that level in HL2: EP2. I beat it, but my best friend had to turn the difficulty to Easy; I don't let him hear the end of it XD
8. Getting through Tales of the Abyss. All 50 hours...the horror...the horror...
9. Beating Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked. My first SMT game, and the difficulty didn't disappoint!
10. The first time I played an FPS (Turok). What an experience :D
11. The first time I played Grand Theft Auto IV. Being a maniac has never been so fun!
12. Topping my time on the Bike Mania flash games in class in middle school. I beat all five games around a dozen times...
13. The first CD I ever downloaded on my Xbox 360. 'Twas In Utero by Nirvana. Listening to that while playing Fallout 3...priceless!
14. For that matter, the first time I played Fallout 3! The Wasteland was the best virtual playground I've ever experienced!

18. The first time I discovered GOG. I joined for the free Fallout, and stayed for the company :D
19. Beating Fire Embelm: The Path of Radiance for the GameCube. Classic FE gameplay with the best story of the series!
20. Grinding for experience on FATE, this mid-2000's Diablo clone I had a demo for on my dad's computer. Wish it'd make it here to GOG...
21. Playing a demo for Psychonauts on the Xbox at Target. Little did I know the cult-classic stature it'd later attain...
22. Beating Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga a few months ago. The last boss used to torment me as a kid, so it felt good to beat my childhood nemesis!
23. I was six when I went to Blockbuster to get a N64 for the family. It came time to pick out some games, and I remember being drawn to a certain Superman game, yet my dad didn't let me get it since it was rated Teen. The bullet I dodged that day...
24. Finding out the mystery of the Nonary game in 999. Great virtual novel <3
and finally...
25. My first GOG summer sale (which is this one)! Really excited to see everyone getting the games they want! :)
Happy birthday and thanks :)

1- Received my first NES
2- Bought a Gameboy, with Super Mario Land
3-Bought Pokemon Blue, the first game with italian subtitles
4- Bought my first PC, with no games XD. So I played Solitaire for a while
5- Discovered magazines that give "for free" PC games: I bought one of them each month.
6-Bought Max Payne 2, the box was beautiful
7- Bought the PSX, and still...no games. So a friend of mine lend me Gran Turismo, then I hated all driving stuff in any videogames.
8- Crash Bandicoot was a little masterpiece. I spent hours on it, with my mother too XD
9-Tomb Raider. I was forced to play it when I was a kid by my mother, who still loves it. But I hated that game. I was a kid, costantly can't find the right thing to do, the right way to take. It was a pixellated nightmare.
10-When my mother gifted me Final Fantasy VII on X-Mas, my first jrpg. I still love that one, I played maybe seven times.
11- Final Fantasy VIII: I sawa lot of previews of this on magazines, but it was expansive. After one year I managed to buy it, and it was wonderful. I tried to play it again today, but the combat system is boring.
12-Saw a Devilman game for PSX, I love the manga so I want to try it, but I never find it.
13- A friend of mine bought a PS2, with Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy X. The PS2 was so expansive, I can't take one at that time, so every single day I was at my friend's home, playing those two games XD I hade my personal savegame too XD
14- The first time I tried Kingdom Hearts: a Final Fantasy game-like with Disney characters? That was a masterpiece. Still, I hadn't a PS2, playing this game from my friend XD
15- Finally managed to take a PS2, with two games: Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy X. I took the savegame from my friend, copied them into the memory card...and nothing. I fully completed those two games, so for several month I played them again and again, levelling characters XD
16-I changed home, taking a "real" PC. I was studying for exams in that period, and I was basically alone in this new house, with my parents into the old home. I used to play Doom that period, but it was the freeware version, so I can complete only a chapter XD
17- I tried Half-Life, but I didn't like it too much. Then, several years later, I completed it again and I simply loved it.
18- Games could be better with time, as I said: when I was yound I hated, and I mean hated, Myst. It was so confusing and hard to play, for me. Then three years later or so I bought the Cyan Complete Collection from Steam, and I played finally Real Myst. Is one of my favourite games at all. Then I bought the two Ubisoft chapters, beating the whole saga, including Uru.
19- I can't find a copy of Monkey Island 4. Yes, there are tons of this on Ebay, but the price is so high. I'm searching for one copy from YEARS, but the game isn't on digital delivery. GOG, speed up and take Lucasgames titles!
20-Bought a PS3 with Uncharted, but for maybe six month I didn't touch it. My brother played several titles, but I was playing games on PC...then I tried Uncharted. It is one of my favourite game on that console, a very good game with a nice plot, a Broken Sword tps.
21- Shadow of the Colossus and Ico Collection released for PS3. God I love those two games. My brother bought Shadow for PS2, when I saw it I felt in love with this game. It's amazing. I completed it 35 times.
When I took my hand on the PS3 version, I fully completed those two games with all trophies. I didn't care much about achievements, but I'm proud of those two titles, because the porting of Shadow suffers of a gripping problem, and the game is more difficult then the original one.
22- A user here on GOG gifted me System Shock 2. I always want to try this game, I heard people talking about it as a masterpiece.
Then I played it: well, it was astonishing. If you have played Bioshock before, this is an enhanced version of this.
You see that Bioshock basically is a SS2 remake, with easy gameplay.
23-Bought the WHOLE Ultima series on GOG, started Ultima 1, then never touched it again XD
24- Fully beating Bindiing of Isaac with all achievements. What. A. Nightmare.
25- Metal Gear Solid 5 revealed. Kojima, hurry up and give me this, I can't wait for year, I'm old now XD
1. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Bathtub.
2. Amnesia: The Dark Descent. The entire game, really.
3. In Deus Ex, killing the drug dealer in the subway, then stealing the Zyme off his corpse and trading it for a bomb from a crazy guy in the bathroom
4. Giving the Golden Elixir to Lachdanan in Diablo 1.
5. Last Human campaign mission in Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness -- destroying the Dark Portal (without cheat codes) for the first time.
6. Doing the PVP quests to get the Arathor Battle Tabard in WoW
7. Completing the main quest in Morrowind. (Anyone who tells you Elder Scrolls games have bad or lackluster main quests hasn't played Morrowind.)
8. Repeatedly intending to play Terraria for only half an hour, and winding up playing it for about three or so hours.
9. Mechwarrior 2, Clan Wolf campaign: the Cold Crescent mission, where you sneak into a base under Jade Falcon colors, destroy a reactor thingy, and have to flee before it goes critical and blows everything up within a massive radius. ("Warning -- temperature spike detected. Brace for shockwave.")
10. Seeing Super Smash Bros. (the N64 one) for the first time and being like... is that a... fighting game with... Nintendo characters...? Awesome!
11. The Phantom Train section in Final Fantasy 6.
12. My utter surprise at seeing Torchlight 1 as a new release in GOG's catalog (here's hoping the second one will come here someday).
13. Annah flirting with the player character in Planescape: Torment.
14. The first time I got enough kills in a row in UT2004 to make the announcer say "WICKED SICK!"
15. Another one from WC2: the disco track I'm A Medieval Man.
16. The surreal "Dark Interlopers" scene in Twilight Princess.
17. Playing Ambrosia Software games (like Swoop, Cythera, and Harry the Handsome Executive) on my Mac back in the day.
18. Exploring Hyrule in A Link to the Past.
19. Getting the Death Star plans in the first mission of Star Wars: Dark Forces.
20. Unlocking Cube in Jet Grind Radio (she's a real cutie :P)
21. Setting off dwarves' satchel charges in Myth: TFL and Myth II: Soulblighter.
22. Sarah Kerrigan reading Jim Raynor's mind near the beginning of the first Starcraft.
23. Watching the Portal preview trailer and thinking "oh man, that stuff at the end looks crazy and impossible to do"... and then seeing it again some time after playing the game and being like "oh yeah, I totally know how to do all that stuff now, it's not as hard as it looked at first!"
24. Enslaving a certain major evil character in one of the Neverwinter Nights 1 expansions (being vague to avoid major spoilers here).
25. This line from Lord Crull in WH40K Dawn of War: Winter Assault -- "The Titan is the only prize worth having! Take another step towards it, and I will drive my THUMBS into your greasy eye pits!"
