JudasIscariot: I wasn't planning on leaving anyone in the dark by delegating the answer to Facebook and we usually DO inform everyone of any huge changes as you've no doubt seen in the past few weeks (language updates, FLAC update etc.).

shaddim: Sure, everything fine from my side up to now. Was just wanting to stress the point, that FB is seen by some as pretty "unfitting"/incompatible cooperation partner, policy wise. So, please be careful and keep your core qualities strong! :)
Don't worry, we aren't preparing to move everything exclusively to FB or anything like that :) However, if you want to read more from us, our blog does NOT require you to be signed up to read anything and no, we don't plan on moving everything onto tumblr either :)

Again, sorry if my earlier post seemed flippant but I was merely trying to inform tfishell that the question HE asked had been answered already in order to save him time from asking it again :)

stg83: Agreed, you guys do a pretty great job as God knows how many billions of users from around the world you have on GOG any yet the emails reach everyone informing them on new promos and updates within a few hours at most. :)

JudasIscariot: Oh I got past everything but one thing because I am not sure what to do but it's OK as I get to soak in the atmosphere once more :) I really hope Remigiusz continues making games in the style of The Cat Lady or Downfall and doesn't go the 3D route one day. Speaking as a fan of the games, of course :)
avatar
stg83: So your not a big fan of David Cage and Quantic Dream I presume. ;)
I haven't had the chance to play any of their games yet so I can't really say one way or the other :) I wouldn't eschew a good game just because they are 3D or 2D but I do have a love of good 2D art, especially the raw style used in Downfall :)

Well you should start with Indigo Prophecy if you are ever inclined to play Quantic Dream's games. It is quite good till the end when it just gets bat s**t crazy and weird story wise. Their other newer games are PlayStation Exclusive but I really liked Heavy Rain as it was solid from start till endings (yes multiple some of them really sadistically great), I have yet to play Beyond Two Souls their latest but I have heard its very divisive among people in terms of quality. :)

No worries for now :)
True, 2D art made on low budget works and looks much better than 3D art made on non-AAA budget. There are some nice 3D or pseudo-3D adventure games that look nice (Grim Fandango comes to mind), but I hope this 'series' will stay 2D.

You can play Farenheit for laughs.

tfishell: Plenty of others do too. ;) (BTW, if you would buy the PS or other Humongous games if they came to GOG, make sure to vote for them in the wishlist and consider posting a message of support in this thread:

http://www.gog.com/forum/general/humongous_entertainment_support_thread )

Still hoping to get a response to my original question.

JudasIscariot: We wrote to you on Facebook when you asked the same question :)
Right, sorry, I bumped this before checking Facebook. :P Thanks for the response.
I hope lack of enigmatic hint doesn't mean there will be NO classic release next week. I feel the growing urge to buy some old Microrpose flight sim that I will never play.

Or your personal favourite, Nothing!

Or alternatively, it will disturb the Force.

So why would you buy it if you won't play it? :)

It's more efficient, you can get through lots more games if you don't actually play them
