csmith: Looks like ME3 will be a Steam purchase. Consolidation!
You'd be better off with either GamersGate, Origin or retail for ME3 as it's unlikely to be released on Steam.

Coelocanth: And this is one of the reasons I really don't like the all digital future we're heading toward. Now it's a client and if you have extras like game guides, you'll no longer have them available (for those that don't find out about this before it happens). Glad I only have a few games through them.

Thanks for the heads up on this.
Touche.

Also, for the benefit of those who skimmed through the text:

There are a couple things you can do now to ensure a smooth transition:

Download your favorite game purchases from Direct2Drive. We plan to have as many game files as possible available on GameFly. Just to be sure, please download your old game files before the transition.

Download all of your non-game files (like Prima Guides). These will not be supported by GameFly after the transition.

Once transferred, you'll be able to access your account with one login across GameFly's entire suite of integrated services: The GameFly Client, Web site, and Mobile App.
That's just f**king dandy.

Looks like only Steam, GreenManGaming, GetGamesGo, Desura, GOG and Gamersgate are left in the competition. It's hard to tell how long GMG and GGG will be able to stay in the competition, but GGG needs to buck up. As for Gamersgate, the day it sells out to someone else is the day I really become sadpanda.

Ah, right! Forgot about Origin. I don't mind that platform since I already have a few games on it.

I may be wrong, but ME3 will probably follow BF3's route.
Thanks for letting us know about this, ne_zavarj. It doesn't look as if anything good can come of this so it's best to get downloading and backing up now.
Thanks for posting, good info. Glad I only have 2 games with D2D and i already finished them.
Checked the list of games i bought from D2D . I only need to repurchase BioShock , Caesar IV , Medieval II Total War Gold and the X-COM series .
