GameRager: I doubt only 500-1000 people play per day. :\

Emualynk: The game has been out for like a month now. I don't see why people would keep playing it if they have finished it, especially since the multiplayer appears to be so bad.
or if they had little sense to open up their game to modding, hl2 is a single player game but it still played too [560] as per stats cause there are mods to keep it alive and remove the limits

I agree they should've made it moddable. Still, even stinker games have more players per diem than that.

(Edit: Stop low rating legit posts please)

This article made for a good laugh........apparently poo humor and calling gays faggs in a non-serious style is belligerent and offensive/etc:

Aristechnica says DNF barely playable(un-pc wise) and offensive

They also go on to say that this isn't what Duke is all about :facemeetsbrickwall:

I think some of the DNF fanboys just do not want to admit the game is not exactly setting the world on fire.
Those of us who predicted the reaction would be a big "meh"! from all but the hardcore fans appear to be right.

Well we can't tell fairly because many people were turned off by the bad reviews. I'm a fan of sorts but even I could see the flaws and liked it anyways so far. Flaws which I even accepted and mention awhile back like: No save slots so I can revisit areas, no readily accessible console to enable cheats with for fun & such, some graphical bugs(not bad graphics perse just some popping here and there when turning around concerning far away things like the mothership outside the penthouse windows.).

Some things I liked(so far...haven't finished it yet as I play slowish on all games) -

Interactivity...childish or not I loved the whiteboard & the poo flinging and such, as well as the microwave & some other bits like the beginning RC Car power puzzle.

One liners - This game has em like the old game and more.

Weapons - Some good one so far, from what i've seen.

Not to be a jerk, but why is this marked as a question/problem?

6. What are “question / problem topics”?This is a special category of topics that make it easier to get help from the community as well as to offer your help to others in need. “Question / problem topics” are marked with an orange dot and a label showing if that problem is already solved or not, so community members can easily spot topics where others are looking for help as well as quickly browse through already known and resolved issues. Inside such a topic, the original poster outlines a problem while others try to solve it by giving helpful information or hints. What differentiates these topics from normal discussions is not only a strict rule to stay on topic and try to solve the problem but also the topic creator's ability to mark a specific post as the solution. If your post gets chosen as the solution to the outlined question / problem, it will be marked with a green “solution” label and you will get a nice rep boost. You can easily track your posted questions and received answers using the “My questions” section.

Many here mark things as questions for various reasons. Mine is to give a solve to whoever makes the bets good/bad comment in the first 6 mnths to 1 yr after it's started.
