Games like Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie and DK 64? If so you might want to consider backing "A Hat in Time" on kickstarter.

It's a 3D collect 'em up in the vein of those previously mentioned titles with the aesthetic of the Wind Waker. News for this game has been floating around for a while, and now they're doing a crowd funding campaign to finish it.
