Ebooks only.

I mostly use it in cook books because I make changes to recipes to suit my own tastes.

I like a good hardcover i love my Lunar 2 Strategy guide.

paperback is much easier to handle

I prefer eBooks. If I had to choose a physical copy then I suppose paperbacks, because they take up less space, can be crammed more easily into my bag, and don't hurt if I drop them on my foot.

Paperbacks, hands down.

1) I can hold them in my hand, which is important when I'm reading while eating. It also allows me to better adjust the position of the book to accommodate my aging eyes.

2) I have so many books that shelf space is at a premium. I can cram in far more mass market paperbacks than I can trade paperbacks or hardcovers.

3) Following on the previous reason, I buy so many books that price is a consideration. MMs are generally less expensive (though I will sometimes buy bargain-bin HCs for this same reason).

If I could convert my entire collection to Nook or Kindle, I would. But at well over 7,000 books (that's NOT a typo) it's an expensive proposition, to say the least.

"Good book" that i actually want to save, i rather have as HC. Usually i buy most of the stuff on paperback ofcourse as its just so much more cheaper. Ive been thinking about going totally electronic - but i dont think the technology is quite yet there. Or perhaps the technology is, but the business, fileformats etc are not yet quite 100% standardize i think.

I am bit uncertain, that if i turned my bookshelf into all electronic today - that it would be easily readable after next 10 years. I hope they do something to settle my worries though.
