Series 6

Yes I am rather excited. The Moffat era has mostly been better than the Rusty Era and Neil Gaiman has written one of the scripts :D
Freaky headed kid is actually pretty good.

His head still freaks me out though.
Will be interesting to see how this goes wasnt that impressed with the last series maybe ill find this one better.
Looks good... a little more alien, which would be nice since series 1-5 have all been too "normal" looking, if that makes sense.

I loved Series 5 overall though and I love Matt Smith as the Doctor, so this is pretty much a given for me.
Awesome. Really can't wait. Out of three new doctors i like 11th the most.
Really can't wait, we all know how it will end with River, but I think they'll add a twist to the result (trying to not spoil anything for those that don't know what's happened).

Out of interest, I notice that most responses just now are outside the UK. How it Doctor Who received overseas?

they don't show it on tv as far as I know. Top Gear is way more popular.

Your link says they do show it on TV, on ABC.

But I'm amazed that Dr Who was victim of Australian censorship, that really is pushing protecting people from harmful content.

EDIT: And Top Gear more popular. Oh dear, there is some need for censorship, and that is for Jeremy clarkson's smug irritating face!

That was in the 70s & early 80s though, TV was a radically different beast here then, pre-unification every tv station was regional and subject to the whims of whoever was in charge. As an example, The Brain Of Morbius hit a new high for violence in the series when Kondo gets shot in the stomach (spoilers, sorry) and there's the accompanying explosive effect and blood which is still the most graphic the show has ever done. In some areas it wasn't screened at all because of this scene but in my area it was screened at 21:00 rather than the usual 18:00
