Does GOG have any online multiplayer games? If so does GOG host the servers? If not is this planned?

There are quite a few online enabled GOGs, but GOG itself does not host any servers (to the best of my knowledge). Your best bet is either stick to whatever hosting service was included with the game (and lots of them are still active, Neverwinter Nights for example) or use Hamachi or some other solution.

If you need multplayer keys, you will have to contact support to get it. It shouldn't take longer than a day.

mine did take a few days for arma 1 , was no big deal.was only a key for lan anyway.
sniper elite has multiplayer without a key to several online servers.

GOG run Unreal server for some time, but that was an exception.
