I've recently got a fair few old DOSBox games from GOG and I've been using innounp just to have a look inside the installers to see what versions of DOSBox they come with and to look at any of the conf files.
Anyway, on doing this for some games I noticed some unfamiliar sections within the conf files, such as vsync, glide, printer and innova (a soundcard). None of these appear as options in the default DOSBox 0.74 config file.
So, my question is, are these built into DOSBox but just not put into the conf file at this time (experimental maybe?) or are GOG using modified DOSBoxes and including whatever modules these are and setting them up in the conf ready?
If it is the latter then are there any places I can be pointed at to replicate these kinds of modifications? Only I've been building some portable DOSBox games using the standard DOSBox 0.74 files and I might find some of these modifications to be useful if I can include them.
