Ahoy,

Impulse is selling all the D&D games (the usual, BG 1 + 2 complete, Icewind complete, PS:Torment) for $10!

I'm just wondering if they're DRM-free or if they have some client you have to start up. With my old discs (and of course the gog version) you could just run them from desktop and all that.

This collection costs $20 in Wal-Mart so I think I might get it if it's not held down by some BS.
Impulse has a client. I once installed it but did not find any game interesting to buy (that are not available on Steam or GOG).
Impulse is a Steam/Origin lookalike as far as I understand it. It definitely has a client, and I think also the other DRM aspects.
The client is only necessary for downloading and updating. Other than that the DRM depends on the individual games.
