I am about to pre-order the witcher 2 but dont know where to pre-order it from. I'd love to give my money to gog but I have 20 bucks store credit on d2d with 25% off on pre-orders (which makes it not that expensive). What would you guys do?

Me personally, I'd buy it off GOG because of how awesome CDPR and GOG are being with distributing The Witcher 2 and how kind they are to their customers in general. They really deserve the money.

There will always be other games you can buy off D2D, right? Why not make this purchase with GOG and know almost all of your money goes straight to the people who made the game for you :)
I agree with Switch296. GOG deserves the money.
If you're going to go the digital distribution route, GOG is the best place for Witcher 2.

Don't just think of the cost, think about how you support the devs more and lets not forget that you additional hidden files will be floating around in your OS.

I'm sure there's other games on D2D you'd like to get or pre-order.
