Delixe: Having messed around with the toolset I will go one further and bet you a GOG there is an Isometric mod within 6 weeks of the games launch.
Well Bioware excuse for dropping top camera was that it was impossible to have one because of the new "improved" level design, so it would be funny if somebody manages to bring it back in only 6 weeks.
Speaking of modders I hope there are some really motivated ones, if some could :
-Bring back the top camera or at least allows the camera to move freely
-Change the companion AI/whatever so that when you gives them a target they continue attacking their designated target on not stop with no reason. (I still hope this is a bug)
-Change the spells and abilities to make them more "tactical/friendly fire" friendly.
-Bring back the ability to freely change and customize companion equipments.
... then I wouldn't mind the new combat system :)
Porkdish: Turns out CONSOLES have better AoE camera control.
Personally something I think they should do (I don't know if it's already the case in console version), is to have a targeting system like for example in older Final Fantasy, where you can cycle through possible enemies (or allies for healing or buffing).
You pause the game and pressing up or down you cycle through possible enemies, with the camera centering on them.
It's shame to have that when you have a mouse but it would made targeting less painful for ranged characters.
