Link Very good deal for those who have abstained due to disliking DLC. The whole pack and play.com have it listed for €25.49
£18 at play.com?!?!?!

That's an incredible price.
Great deal. I wonder if the DLC is actually included on the disc(s) or if you get codes to redeem and DL. I suspect the latter.
End of October is going to be great; DAO: Ultimate Edition and Fable 3 should turn up on the same day!
Exactly what I wanted. Hope it gets on Steam.

I hope its on the discs and you don't need net to play. Online stores never seem to say most the time though, will have to wait for others to buy it and find out.

October also brings Two Worlds II (unless you're in North America), Fallout: New Vegas and Arcania: Gothic 4. Clearly the month of the RPG. :)

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I'll wait to find out, then consider buying it if it's on the disc with no need for activation.
I didn't like Dragon Age. I imported it from amazon.co.uk when it was cheap and (of course) didn't buy and DLCs except the free ones. Played til i got into the dwarven city, then quit it and never touched it again so far. The "feeling" just wasn't right and the fighting system somehow reminded me of World of WarCraft but with a party, which just didn't appeal to me. In addition to that, the game world was so "forced" to be all mature and gory and stuff that it just annoyed me after a while.

I just installed Baldur's Gate again and am playing it right now and i must say that Dragon Age, although placed in line with it by many magazines, comes nowhere near the quality and fascination and FUN of the classic.

Just my opinion and why the Ultimate Edition don't bothers me. ;)
Looks like the fact that I hadn't got round to it yet may become a benefit. That's quite a large slice of extra content for £6 more than I can find the base game. Even ignoring the DLC, you're saving a good £6 over buying the two games separately.

[Edit]
The DLC will be on the disc. I know that Feast Day gifts/pranks are a part of the Ultimate Edition, and will find out whether the Blood Dragon armor and any other items are included.

No idea if it means that an internet connection is not required, however.

I've already pre-ordered enough; if I order any more then I'll never leave the house again. And I still have to raise money for my chairty sky dive. Which reminds me ...
I just hope it will be available at some other stores, especially for Europe...
I have everything already but if this has all the content on discs without DRM I will buy it when it hits $20.
Looks like it's the same activation DRM for the DLC as with the original release. Check out Fernando Melo's response (5th one down) Here, where he says:

"For PC only, you redeem 1 code that will unlock everything for your account. As someone else mentioned, once that happens you can then play offline -there's no online requirement past the initial authorization. This also ensures you can always get to your DLC from social should you need to in the future, as it is enabled on your account."

No reason to invest in it if you've already bought the DLC or if you're looking for a non-DRMed version of it.
