Rohan15: Aliasalpha would be pissed at all of you for not knowing what Syndicate is.
Aliasalpha would be pissed at YOU for not understanding sarcasm. :p
Don't know what this Syndicate or Dungeon Keeper that people are raving about is, but I heard of something called LBA from Electronic Arts and I heard it has little elephant people.
I'd definitely buy a game that has little elephant people in it!

Wishbone: It might be a tie between EA and LucasArts.
avatar
Delixe: I actually doubt that. For sheer volume EA are far superior to Lucasarts. Bullfrog, Westwood and Origin alone would keep GOG busy for months.
Sure, provided they actually released all those games. I'm just saying that to the galloping hordes of GOG users in general, it might be a tie which one of them is the most anticipated.

The beauty of getting EA on board is they still hold all their IP's so it's just a case of getting them to sign up and BAM GOG have the motherload. The only exceptions are where EA has sold the IP to the original creator like Wasteland to Brian Fargo's inXile.

I'm pretty sure that a publisher signing up does NOT mean that GOG automatically gets the rights for ALL their IPs. Otherwise there's an awful lot of games that would have been here already but aren't. GOG gets to distribute whatever games the publisher lets them, and if they want more, they make a new deal.

No but it's a foot in the door and like I said EA own all their IP's unlike Ubisoft and Activision who due to takeovers and other corporate shenanigans don't.

Navagon: Syndicate? Never heard of it.

Haha excellent! Man, that game was HARD
